Serves: 2–3 | Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 12 min

Ingredients

● 1 large sweet potato
● 1–2 tbsp olive oil
● 1–2 tsp smoked paprika
● 1–2 tsp onion powder
● 1–2 tsp garlic salt
● 1–2 tsp salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions

  1. Rinse and dry the sweet potato thoroughly.
  2. Peel the skin, then slice the potato in half lengthwise.
  3. Cut each half into long, even strips (aim for uniform thickness so they cook evenly).
  4. Add the strips to a mixing bowl and coat evenly with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle in smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Toss well until every fry is seasoned.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  7. Add the fries in a single layer and cook for 12 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crispiness.
  8. Remove and serve hot- they’re best right out of the fryer!

Erin’s Tip: I always “eye” my seasonings…trust your instincts! A generous sprinkle of each gives the fries that perfect smoky/salty flavor. Serve with a dip like chipotle mayo or honey mustard for extra yum
